Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

For being only 3.5 months old, Elizabeth has sure traveled a lot! After we were back from seeing our Kansas City family, Elizabeth and I had two days of rest and then jetted down to Georgia. We flew into Atlanta where my cousin Lori picked us up from the airport. We went and had lunch with Erin and then went on to my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Lee's house. We spent the night and then headed to Savannah. We had a great week at my Grandma's! We ate and ate and ate! My wonderful aunt and Grandma watched Elizabeth while I went to the beach and then my mom watched her another day! So that was two beach afternoons, it was glorious!

It was a wonderful week and Im so thankful to have such a wonderful family to visit! Elizabeth did wonderful, she's quite the little traveler!

Ready to go to GA!

3 month

Our sweet Elizabeth is 3.5 months! Ive been meaning to write her three month post for a couple weeks, but we have been SO busy with traveling to see family (that's another post!)

Here are some stats:

*weighs about 13 lbs

*eating about 5 ounces, 6 times a day

*sleeping in her crib

from about 8ish to 3ish and then again till about 6. So she is doing one long 7 hr stretch and then usually a 2.5 to 3 hr. stretch. Naps are still short, but they are starting to lengthen a little every once and a while

*babbles all the time. I think we have a serious talker on our hands,  no idea where she gets that! Makes lots of noises all the time!

*Constantly smiling. I love how she will smile when you talk to her, melts my heart.

*grasps toys, stuffed animals, blankets, and put them in her mouth

*always sucking on her hands. Usually she will put them in her mouth and then make face like she is doesn't like the taste...so funny!

* loves to kick and move herself by pumping her legs. We will put her in her crib and by the next morning she will be all the way on the other side.

* getting better at tummy time but still doesn't care for it too much

* holding her head up better. She is getting very strong. We have to really hold onto her on the changing table or she will kick herself right off.

Sorry I couldn't get more pictures to load, Ill try again later!

Jenny

Memorial Day weekend

Wow, what a WONDERFUL weekend! We spent Memorial Day weekend in KC and had a blast. I really think this was my favorite trip yet! This was Elizabeth's first time in KC and it could not have gone better! She was such a good traveler. She slept great and her longest "fussy time" was less than 10 min. So proud of my girl, traveling is in her blood!

We left Thursday around 4 and spent the night with Nate and Kari Bock. It's always so much fun to spend time with such good friends! We were able to spend some times with their boys the next morning and had so much fun. They are so sweet and so funny! Thanks Nate and Kari for letting us spend the night and being so accommodating! We love you!

Friday we went on to KC. We spend Friday and Saturday night with Susan and Dave, aka Grandma and Pops and Sunday and Monday with Tim and Betsy, aka PaPa or Grandpa (havent decided yet) and GiGi. We were thoroughly spoiled and enjoyed every second of it!

Here are some pics of the weekend, they are all out of order because I have no idea how to move them :)! We did not want to come home we were having so much fun!

Cousins!

Love this sweet girl! Her eyes get me every time!

2 months old!

Our sweet girl is 2 months old! What a month it has been! She is such a sweet girl and is developing such a sweet personality! Below are some pics and recent milestones.

At 2 months Elizabeth is....

*cooing all the time. It often sounds like she is responding back to us.

*smiling like crazy. She loves to smile and is starting to smile when we are acting silly. It's so great seeing her beginning to respond to us.

*drooling all over herself. I didn't know 2 month olds could drool, but she is!

*sleeping about 6 hours at night and taking short naps during the day. Ill take the long nights, though!

*eats about every 2.5-3 hours, averaging 3.5 to 4 ounces

*looks JUST like her daddy and even has some of the same expressions

*starting to track moving things with her eyes

*completely enthralled with her mobile. She will lay in her crib for about 20 min and just stare at it and laugh and smile as it goes around. Absolutely adorable!

Life with Lizzie

Life with our sweet girl is so much fun! She will be 2 months old on Friday!? I can't believe it! She is developing such a fun personality. We've had a busy few weeks with family and friends coming to visit. Nancy, aka Nana Na Na, came and stayed with use for a week and we had the best time. Elizabeth and I were both spoiled and we miss her terribly! Last weekend my Grandma, Aunt Debbie, and Uncle Lee came to visit. We had so much fun playing, eating, and hanging out!

Here are some pictures of the past few weeks.

Jenny
