I'm going to try and get better about blogging. I love reading other people's blogs and often get annoyed when they don't update very often. Well that was until I started blogging and realize it's harder than it looks! However, my sister in law, Hannah, has been rocking it with all her blog posts this week! Check out her awesome blog!
Anyways, this week I've been on fall break. It has been fabulous! One of the many perks on being a teacher! I am going to miss these paid breaks when Lizzie is born! :) My cousins Erin and Matt came up for a few days and we had a blast! We got to watch the Georgia game (although it was pretty depressing), eat lots and lots of food, have our reveal party, go shopping, and just enjoyed hanging out. I can't believe they were here all weekend and we didn't get any pictures! However, I am so glad they were able to come up!
On Wednesday, my friend Holly with me to Babies R Us and helped me register. Thank the Lord for friends who had babies already! I would have been soo overwhelmed if she wouldn't have been with me! My mom went with me on Thursday to register at Target. I had so much fun both times. Little Elizabeth is going to be SO spoiled!
On Friday, my mom and dad came over and helped me get Lizzie's nursery ready. Mom and I painted and dad built me some shelves for the other bedroom. I am SO thankful for both of them. It is so nice to already have the nursery painted and now we can slowly start working on it!
Drew and I cleaned out the nursery closet and guest closet on Saturday and it was a task! We felt a little like we could write a book called "If you decide to have a baby..." . It would be like the books "If you give a mouse a cookie". It would go something like this.... "If you decide to have a baby, then you will want to paint the nursery. If you want to paint the nursery then you will need to empty the room. If you empty the room you will be forced to clean out the closets. If you clean out the closets then you will realize not only do you have too much stuff but you also have no where to put it. If you decide you have to much stuff with not enough space you will want a new house! " That's all we have for now. We are working on the illustrations!
Sorry for the long post. I need to post more so I don't have so much to say! Here are few pictures to break up all the words!
